Grid Drawing
18x18
Graphite Pencil
For this assignment we were to bring in an object and draw it numerous times in some form of grid format. We could draw the exact image multiple times, change the perspective, draw pieces of it, etc. We were to use graphite pencil, no color. I think it would have been more 'Pop-art-y' if we were able to use color, but I think we were to focus more on the composition and grid than the 'pop art' aspect of the piece. Again, I wish I could have had more time to work on it and add more detail in the wood, instead of having to simplify the object, but I really enjoyed creating a grid and focusing on composition.

Andy Warhol & Wayne Thiebaud. Some of Pop Art's greatest artists!
