Prisma Colored Pencils
8x10
Alyssa Monk's 'The Laugh'
This was a bit frustrating for me to do. I really don't like drawing other people's art work. It is their's and not mine, but I did learn a lot from doing this. I pretty much had no idea what I was doing. I don't do color very often and I don't use prismas very often either. Once I figured out the colors to use, it went a bit smoother. Figuring out the right colors to get her skin tone was the hardest part. I used colors that I generally wouldn't think of in skin tone (Green??? Who knew?). But over all, I think it turned out well. I really loved drawing her hair and making it appear somewhat wet, like the original painting.
